2. Find your niche and follow the influencers. You need to know who your potential customers are, and where they hang out online. For us, that was the AI and marketing space. We used X (formerly Twitter) to follow as many big names in the niche as possible, and turned on post notifications to keep up with the latest trends and news. It might feel like a sensory overload but you’ll adapt. We also engaged with them as much as we could, by liking, commenting, and sharing their posts quickly after they tweet. This helped us build relationships and credibility in the community.
3. Submit your product to relevant tool aggregator websites. You need to get your product in front of as many eyes as possible, and one way to do that is to submit it to websites that aggregate tools in your niche. For us, that was a few key AI tool sites, but we didn’t limit ourselves to that. We also submitted our product to over 100 other sites, covering different categories and audiences (email us at email@example.com with subject “Friendly Ghost” if you’d like access to our list).
