Hey, remember those days as a newbie, trembling while seeking help on GitHub? Every developer has likely experienced that bewilderment when first entering the open-source community — cryptic documentation that makes you question life choices, incomprehensible code that leads to existential crisis, submitted issues that sink like stones, and having to fork projects to figure things out alone.

As a former “victim,” after becoming a project maintainer, I secretly vowed to be one of the good ones: to write documentation more engaging than novels, answer every question, respond to all requests, and give visitors a warm, welcoming experience! But reality often hits hard, and years of maintaining the AntV community made me realize:
