Woman learns her whole life was a lie after finding out she was 'kidnapped' as a baby
A woman has gone viral on social media after sharing the shocking tale of how she discovered, age 26, that her life wasn't quite what she thought and she was actually a missing person
What would you do if you found out one day that your entire life had been a lie and your family weren't who you thought they were?
The clip, which has gone viral, being watched hundreds of thousands of times, was captioned: "How I learned I had been kidnapped."
In it, the woman explains that she had discovered her mum wasn't her biological mother and had been trying to find out more about the person who gave birth to her when she found out the truth.
She says: "I think I was 26-years-old, I was in a healthy place for the first time and I was preparing to get married and I had two children.
"I don't know what compelled me to call the sheriff's department in the city that I was born, it just seemed to make sense at the time. I called the sheriff's department, I gave them the information that I have, the sheriff became extremely interested in who I was, my personal information and after a few minutes of having that conversation about who I was he asked me to please sit down, he had something to tell me.
