At a time when The Witcher fans are waiting for the second season on Netflix, in video games there's not much sign of Geralt's return from Rivia.  But for fans of Gwent, the card game featured in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt can now be played in adventure format in Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker, which is now available for iOS but was priced at 11 euros when was initially released.

The RPG takes place not only on the board, but also in a three-dimensional world, where the player is invited to explore various scenarios and puzzles.

Created by some of those responsible for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game tells the story of Meve, queen of two Northern Kingdoms: Lyria and Rivia.  Faced with the imminent invasion of the enemy Nilfgaardian army, the character is forced to return to the path of war, embarking on a journey of destruction and revenge.

In addition to being able to play on smartphones, the game is available for PC and consoles and supports cross-save, meaning you can keep the adventure progressing when you switch platforms.
