PayPal Inc.'s browser extension Honey unlawfully supplants affiliate links and reduces content creators’ commissions and tracking numbers, Wendover Productions LLC and Businessing LLC alleged in a proposed class action.

The YouTube video makers’ complaint, filed Sunday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, said PayPal “takes advantage of last click attribution by inserting a Honey pop-up at checkout for each customer” who has installed the extension.
