Could this be the year of Linux+Flutter?

IMO, Flutter was born already better than React Native, Native Script and Xamarin. It is not perfect yet and will take some time to be (if ever). Things will vastly improve when it can do a better job in web and be able to replace Electron (which is pure crap). So, not yet.

The "year of Linux" is every year. Linux is the most amazing OS for servers. NOTHING can beat it, and I doubt anyone will try for a long long time.

For workstation? Linux is a total piece of shit (specially if you use nVidia). MacOS is a fucking toy that can't even maximize a window properly (but it has a nice foundation (BSD)). For gaming and office? I doubt anything will threaten Windows for the next 10 years or so.

So, to make a long post short: your question is shit. It's like asking "Could this be the year of allen screwdrivers?"

What I want to transmit in this article is that Flutter can help Linux developers deploy better apps than before, using the `flutter_gtk` package, a WIP port of the GTK library :)
