I wrote and subsequently deleted a rather long account of my 2023. I am extremely lucky, and feel eternally thankful for your support. This time around , though, most of the details felt better kept private (at least for now).

I am working on new projects now [6]. I find them extremely exciting and believe they will be meaningful. I am mainly based in Cambridge, Massachusetts (for at least the time being).

[1] We possessed what Zen Buddhism calls the Shoshin (Japanese: 初心)—the beginner’s mind—which enabled a raw and curious experience of life.

[2] I see the paradox. Aldous Huxley coined the term 'The Law of Reversed Effort' to explain that the harder we try with the conscious will to do something, the less we shall succeed. Alan Watts discusses this in “The Wisdom of Insecurity.”
