Yoot Saito just sent me (Don Hopkins -- don@donhopkins.com) a code drop of Yoot Tower for archival and academic study, and to make a modern open source version that runs in the browser!
Please check out the YootTower repo, where I'll publish the source code once it's cleaned up, reviewed and approved by Yoot, and relicensed with the MIT licensed.
There’s a lot of stuff, so I am going over the files, sorting out which versions there are, and trying to date and classify them.
Both Yoot Tower and SimCity/Micropolis share the same goals and benefits of constructionist education, inspired by Seymour Papert and Alan Kay.
