The cat cafe trend is spreading. We'll have one in DC soon enough; http://dcist.com/2014/11/breaking_cat_cafe_coming_to_dc.php ...surely amenity=cat_cafe will appear in OSM soon enough as well.
The need to discern between a regular cafe and a cat cafe is only going to increase. Also thinking about those with allergies, this could be a lifesaving icon.
Thanks @kkaefer for picking this up again. I gave up hope on this years ago. I think the Berlin airport will be finished earlier than this cat icon.
