Why AI Fails To Create Compelling Written Content
Hello, again. Today, I am going to be sharing my experience with utilizing ChatGPT to create Medium articles and why I think AI doesn’t live up to the hype (at least based on my personal experience with these articles). First off, you can find my AI-written articles: here, here, and here.
Despite my best efforts to try to create new articles with ChatGPT that add value, at the very least, these articles aren’t very good at doing that job. Perhaps if you were a beginner to any of those topics, they might be relevant, but then how does that provide more value than a Google/Kagi search? Moreover, they are just written… weirdly. At certain points, they overuse descriptive adjectives whereas in other areas aren’t descriptive at all. They contain several AI “clichés” and don’t really add any particular value to the task at hand.
As you can see, they are not very popular either. Honestly, what this whole experiment has taught me is that human-written articles are leagues ahead of anything AI can write. That is not to say that in the future AI can’t provide value, but, at least at this point in time, they don’t appear to.
