the exterior is all black, and matches the exact dimensions of OP–1 field. a distinct grayscale gradient is at its center, making it clear that OP–XY is all about serious sequencing. hands-on graphics on the high-resolution display are all grayscale, with a bright red to indicate recording and parameter locks. all vital keys have leds to stay in full control. it's minimal. it's efficient. it's sexy.
